Character Post - Avazor Aikanaro

Yo yo, y'all! Katy again! With the big pause in our posting, when my fellow posters realize I've started doing it again, they may just join me. But for now, y'all will have to bear with me.
  I only have some much to say, however. Only like, 1...4...15 books worth? Not a chance. I'll try to a least do a post a week.
And here is a taste of my insanity in which I pause to play Mr. Jump left on the computer desk by my sibling and then have half a heart attack while my computer starts talking to me and I foolishly realize I left my music playing and subsequently perish on my game of which I just began.

Alright, now onto the important content of this post.

MY BABY!:

My... grumpy baby?
Alright, alright, his name is Avazor. I'll give him a proper introduction:

Avazor Aikanaro

(Kul ~ Mage ~ Warrior ~ Captain-of-the-Guard)

Honestly, through the whole time I've had this character, 

this is the best picture I've ever found. 

  Avazor is a male Kul from Carsia. If you read the post about Anath, Carsia is to the southeast of Bjarke. Avazor is probably one of my most favorite characters of all time, and my most worked on. The poor guy, he has to go through a lot of character development. 

  

   He is actually quite amazing though. Let me start with rank: Up there, I know it says Captain of the guard, but that's just his longest held rank.
  He has also been Lorded in three countries, (one of them was kind of honorary) he's been a Duke, a royal assassin, an ambassador, Knight, Royal Bounty Hunter(That is a thing), and he was king for a few hours, and then he was banished for assassination of the previous king and making an assassination attempt on a fellow assassin, also assassinating the crown prince of Bjarke.
  That was an interesting time.
  From this, I understand why you would think Avazor likes killing people. This is not true!
  He's just really good at it is all...
  I'll give y'all some background on my little Avazor.
  He grew up with his older brother, Adull, and his mother. His father died when he was eleven, which no one was too torn up over. He and Adull went to battleschool in Miure(Carsia's capital) at age 15 and 19 along with Desok Dowiddoe and Adrimayr Levnor.
  Avazor advanced faster than any of the teachers thought possible, in physical and magical training. Adull and the others weren't that far behind.
  Thirty years later they had passed every sort of training battleschool could offer, and were sent to different countries to train their techniques, then they returned to Carsia after a while to practice and learn more.
  The years they practiced amounted up to about 80 or 90. Out of all of them, no one could deny that Avazor was more skilled.
  All in all, he is trained in 118 different forms of hand-to-hand combat, knows over 20 languages and can expertly wield over 60 weapons in several different techniques. He has hearing that surpasses normal Kuleish skill to the extent that it's obvious when someone's lying because he can hear their heart beat when he wants to.
  He's also well trained in reading people unless it comes to affections, which is one of his biggest flaws.
  Despite the overwhelming evidence, Avazor is not physically perfect. He is only 130 something, and there are others that have more skill than him. Although his skill in magic usually counters that.
  So, he is close...
  But his fighting prowess is his major point. In short, Avazor is just not a very nice person and will burn down your village if he feels like it. He has no qualms about killing people, in any way.





 As you might have guessed, he is not a good guy. Not at first.
  In general, Avazor is very serious, and he tends to frown a lot. He doesn't really talk much either, but he definitely has the capacity for sarcasm.
  And as I said before, he's not great with reading affections, nor with talking with girls that aren't his sister.
       For Example:
  "Hold on, hold on," Desok held an arm out in front of her. "You're not going, it's too dangerous."
  Alydda gave him a long-suffering look. "For me? Why is it you don't think I can fight as well as you?"
  "Because you're a girl." Avazor said without looking up.
  Alydda threw her arms up and stalked out.
  "Avazor!" Desok glared.
  "What?" Avazor said nonchalantly.


Appearance-wise, he is tall and lean, with a sharp face. His eyes are light blue, and he is tow-headed like most Kul.

In case you were wondering why he was my baby, he is one of the most in-depth characters I've ever made, and because of his personality, I can make so many awkward scenes with him and his lady friend.

Character Post - Anath Terinmër

Character post time. Katy's back! 

  Now I had trouble thinking about what to do. I considered posting about my fictional countries, another chapter of Cerandith Asaile, or maybe even something I had for lunch today. But no. I settled on a character post.

  Part of me wanted to do a protagonist from my book. The other part wanted an antagonist turn protagonist who happens to be my favourite character... The reasonable part of me said Anath, so here I am.

Anath Terinmër

(Elf ~ Mage ~ Princess )

An elvish girl with wavy red hair and grey eyes stood there

 with a large stick in her hand, looking rather embarrassed. "Sorry, that usually works."

Anath Terinmër is an elven girl that hails from Bjarke(Be-yayrk), which is a country in Avaniah based somewhat off of Norway, and Tura, a recently founded country of elves near Bjarke. She is the daughter of Terin Furokmën, who is the king of Tura.
  I don't quite remember where I got her name. I think a friend suggested it and a few others as names I can use for my story, but very recently I was reading through Chronicles and found it in there. So good news, Anath is a biblical name! Bad news, it was originally a male's name. Oh well.
  Now as of her last name, that's the custom of the Bjarkens, where they use their father's name and Mën(May-en) for males and Mër (May-er) for females. Terin is Anath's father, so her last name is Terinmër.

  Anath may be the daughter of a king, but like father like daughter, and neither of them act like royalty. Anath has been called by the captain-of-the-guard in Carsia a Warrior Princess, and that title has rather stuck. Just as well, the captain-of-the-guard was her friend. Anath is skilled with a sword or a bow, but not incredibly. Her preference is her magic.

  Magic can be in all ranges and elements, and Anath discovered some deadly magic early on in her life (She is 103). She can cover her hands in sunlight. And not like "Ooh, my hands are shiny!" Or "Cool, automatic flashlight created a few hundred centuries earlier!" It, in fact, gives very little light. It's sort of like when a glow-in-the-dark item is super bright and you can see it really well in the dark but it doesn't give off a light, if that makes sense.
  It's sunlight as in her hands become as hot as the sun. (Not really as hot as the sun, but that's what they think because they don't know how hot the sun really is.) Just imagine your hands turning into golden lightsabers.
  Anath is skilled in hand to hand combat and can apply her magic to that.
It can be a rather convenient method for torturing prisoners too! One could chop someone's arm off and the wound would be instantly cauterized, so you didn't have to worry about loss of blood.


..... wow.... that was incredibly morbid....
.... I don't torture people, by the way...


Moving on!
  Anath has wavy red/orange hair that goes down to about her mid-back. Her eyes are blue-grey and she has a scar that follows two and a half inches down her right cheek bone. That was a fun story... also very morbid. Lots of death, and a big battle. But all Anath got out of it was a scar. Yeah, it's only fun if you get a scar out of it. Pain. Love it. Maybe I'll tell you another time once you get used to my morbidness.
  Anath's personality is like a flash flood, or sunshine during rain. She's really very nice, cautious, but nice. But if you aren't such a great person, you may end up with no arms. She smiles a lot and has a strong sense of loyalty to her father and to Avazor(Mr. Captain-of-the-guard). Anath is actually very clever.
  Her duties as Terin's daughter usually include going on diplomatic missions, battle planning, trailing around behind Terin, making him look nobler, and wiping out the rogue elven camps that make constant assassination attempts.  Her schedule is usually fairly full, you see.
She has a few hobbies like a normal person might, for example, she enjoys fishing and reading. She actually didn't learn how to read until she was maybe 60, but she still likes it.
